Masala Meter 3/5 · Quality 9/10 · Hollywood · Animation, Family

A boy, a guitar and a trip to the land of the dead. Call your grandmother after.

Miguel dreams of music in a family that has banned it, and on the Day of the Dead he ends up among his skeleton ancestors. Bright, funny and full of songs.

Indian families will recognise everything about it: the elders, the photos on the wall, the remembering. The ending gets everyone.
