Kantara (2022)

Masala Meter 5/5 · Quality 8/10 · Kannada · Action, Folklore

Forest, folklore and a final twenty minutes you'll feel in your bones.

A rowdy villager, a forest officer and a land dispute rooted in centuries-old ritual. The first half is rough village comedy; the second slowly tightens until the Bhoota Kola climax erupts.

That ending alone justifies every chilli on the meter. Watch it loud.

Where to watch in India: Netflix, Prime Video.
