Premalu (2024)

Masala Meter 3/5 · Quality 8/10 · Malayalam · Romance, Comedy

A Malayali boy in Hyderabad, a girl way out of his league, and a lot of bad decisions.

Sachin (Naslen) moves to Hyderabad after a heartbreak and falls hard for Reenu (Mamitha Baiju), a confident IT professional who sees him as a friend. That's the whole plot, and it's plenty.

Girish A.D. fills it with modern, very online humour, and the supporting cast is hilarious. The breeziest romcom in years.

Where to watch in India: aha.
