Masala Meter 3/5 · Quality 8.5/10 · Tamil · Drama, Biography

A village boy wants to make flying cheap. Everyone laughs, until they don't.

Inspired by Air Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath, Suriya plays Maara, a former air force officer who dreams of a one-rupee airline for ordinary people. Sudha Kongara directs with real fire.

The airport and boardroom fights are thrilling, and Aparna Balamurali as Bommi, his equally stubborn wife, is a delight. It goes straight for the heart and gets there.
