Masala Meter 3/5 · Quality 9/10 · Hindi · Horror, Folklore

Greed, gold coins and a god who should never have been worshipped.

In a rain-soaked Maharashtra village, Vinayak learns the secret of a cursed treasure guarded by Hastar, a forgotten god. He goes back for more, and then brings his son.

Few Indian horror films look this good or feel this original. It's more dread than jump scares, and the folklore will stay with you. Watch it with the lights off.
